TWO OUTDOOR EVENTS THIS WEEKEND
This year is a great year for fireflies. They are so magical and beautiful floating up at night. One of my guests from northern Illinois was so happy to see them this week. They are not as abundant in some areas of the country as they are here.
You can enjoy them each night in your own yard of course, and you can take a nighttime nature walk this Saturday from 8:30 to 10:00pm at The Louisville Nature Center. The Nature Center's naturalist, Rosemary Bauman will give a short talk about fireflies before the one hour walk.
Registration is required and there is a $5 fee per person.
For more information call the Louisville Nature Center at 502-458-1328.
