We have had more than our share of snow and cold this winter. It is not a good thing when the weather channel has someone on site reporting from your city three times in one week!

But now the snow has melted and the temperatures are normal and the bulbs are already 2 inches up in the gardens...last week 12 inches of snow - this week bulbs coming up!

And around town many classes are available to get us in the mood to plant.
Here are just a few happening this March.

"Herbs Past and Present" March 28
Presented by the Kentuckiana Herb Society and held at Huber Orchard and Winery in Southern Indiana. Price is $35 and includes the presentation from Bill Handel of the Illinois Natural History Survey and chef Nancy Russman, and continental breakfast and buffet lunch.
