This weekend Louisville will host events in the city for music lovers of all ages.
ABBEY ROAD ON THE RIVER, the biggest BEATLES Festival in the nation, makes a return to the Belvedeer downtown for the 10th year. It is bigger and better this year and includes as an appearance by the BEACH BOYS.  The Beatles and the Beach Boys had a friendly rivalry and this year marks a 50 year anniversary for both bands.
More than 60 bands will perform throughout the weekend on 8 stages set up on the Belvedeer and at the Muhammad Ali Center. Bands are coming from more than 10 countries including Sweden, Scotland and Brazil. Every performer will perform and couple of Beatles songs.
The Beach Boys and the Lovin' Spoonful's John Sebastian perform at 7 pm on Sunday  on the festivals lawn stage.

SKRILLEX, led by Sonny John Moore, is headlining a holiday weekend mini festival on Memorial Day that will feature Dillon Francis, DJ Snake, What So Not and Milo & Otis.


This festival has been thriving since 1992 on the riverfront at the Water Tower.  This event is very popular with families is affordable and there is plenty of great options for food on the grounds. The event runs three days and includes Keith Porter and the Yard Squad on Saturday, Taj Weekes and Adowa on Sunday) and The Ark Band on Monday.

The weather forecast for the whole holiday weekend is fabulous. Perfect time to get out and enjoy these bands in Louisville.
