EVENTS AT THE FILSON HISTORICAL SOCIETY IN NOVEMBER


This month the Filson is having a series of lectures and exhibits all centered around the theme of Kentucky and Ohio River Valley portraits from 1802 - 1920.
The "Lessons in Likeness Events" include:
November 11
Opening of the Filson Portrait Exhibit 5:15 p.m. Reception
Lecture by Estill Curtis Pennington author of " Lessons in Likeness"
Guided audio tours of the exhibit will be available November 12 through March 31.

The Filson has been collecting, preserving and telling the stories of Kentucky and the Ohio River Valley history and culture since 1884. Thousands of people visit the Filson annually to conduct research, attend programs and lectures or tour the Ferguson mansion and Museuum.
