A PUMPKIN VINE SHOWED UP ALONG THE FRONT STEPS

This year several pumpkin vines have appeared in the yard. The one along the front walk is incredible. It has wrapped itself around the hedge on both sides and now has two great looking pumpkins. They won't last long as we have a family of squirrels who love pumpkin seeds....which may be who planted the seeds in the first place! They are a variety called a Cinderella pumpkin and turn a reddish orange when full grown. They are also very good for cooking. You can also pick the flowers and dip them in a batter and fry until crispy. We haven't tried that yet.
