The Louisville Science Center is now showing and exhibit on the Titanic. It runs through February 15 and includes some never before shown objects. The Science Center is located in a very interesting area of downtown Louisville. The buildings were built in the 1800s and were used as wharehouses. They backed up to the wharf where steamboats unloaded wares. Most also have cast iron fronts with fabulose designs. This is the one of the largest grouping of these buildings in the country. It is a great area to walk along and stop into galleries and restaurants. And just a block north you can walk along the river at Louisvile's waterfront park.
